High demand sees new dates added to Petroleum Conference

Due to high demand from both national and international companies, the International Petroleum Conference has been rescheduled to 30th January – 1st February 2017.

Iran 2017 will take place over three-days to cover all aspects of the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors with a particular focus on the vast midstream and downstream opportunities currently available.

It will include a series of workshops led by global industry experts, which are designed to guide international and domestic participants through the regulations and financial mechanisms surrounding the oil, gas and petrochemical industries in Iran.

Guest speakers include Iran’s minister of petroleum H.E Mr Bijan Namdar Zanganeh and president deputy in science and technology Dr Sorena Sattari. Several high level international speakers will also present their expertise at the conference from amongst the leading international oil companies and the service companies.

The conference has also garnered support from the chairman of the Iranian Parliament, Dr Ali Larijani, for its helpful ideas in developing the private sector. Dr Larijani and Dr Gholamreza Nouri, house deputy chief of communication, also welcomed the fundamental ideas of holding the petroleum conference in convergence of the private sector.

Throughout, the international exhibition will provide all companies with a commercial platform to showcase their products, services and technologies. It will also provide important networking opportunities to encourage the formation of business partnerships. In addition, there will be a series of social events and round table discussions to facilitate this, which is open to all delegates.

As a special launch and press conference proceeding the main event in 2017; an additional event will be held on 1st October as for the first time leading Iranian oil and gas business associations will come together as a united voice for the Iran petroleum industry’s private sector to discuss increasing collaborations in the Iran oil and gas private sector and initiatives for an independent petroleum sector regulatory body.
