Our story began in 1969 when CREI was founded, initially focusing on the design and production of electric heaters and thermocouples for automatic packing and packaging machines. Strengthened by this experience with automatic machines, CREI STT Elettronica was born in 1979, which focuses its resources on the production of the first electronic cam programmers (angular positioners). Specific functions are then immediately patented, becoming fundamental for applications requiring high-speed precision control. The high quality standard of its products and the high level of professionalism achieved have made CREI STT Elettronica one of the brightest and most dynamic production realities in the small industry.
DIGITAL PROGRAMMER SWITCH
A complete range of electric cam positioners for industrial applications: packaging machines, plastic material plants, filling systems, food machines, ceramic plants and presses.
In addition to the standard items in the catalogue, there is the possibility of customization upon request. Furthermore the Digital Programmer Switches are compatible with OMRON,HOHNER,POINTEL, DEUTSCHMANN and other brands. All cam programmers allow for the insertion of up to 180 ON/OFF phases for each individual cam.
DPS 824 line
A simple and practical angular positioner with 8, 16, or 24 electronic cams, featuring automatic linear advance based on speed for each cam. The outputs are self-protected in case of short circuit
or overload: a led on the keyboard and an output signal will indicate this alarm status. Storage capacity ranges from 6 to 21 formats (expandable up to 89).
DPS 16/C44 line
A high-speed response cam positioner with 16 electronic cams, featuring automatic linear advance based on speed for each cam. Outputs are self-protected against short circuits or overloads, with an LED on the keyboard and an output signal indicating alarm status. Storage includes 44 formats and 63 messages.
DPS VEVB line
A phase programmer with 16 or 32 cams which includes multiple functions: automatic linear advance in function on speed for single cam, delays for banks, related cams, speed ratios; the outputs are self-protected in case of short circuit or overload: a led on the keyboard and an output signal will indicate this alarm status. Storage ranges from 22 to 44 formats (expansion up to 60) and 255 messages; the membrane keyboard and the aluminum front frame with shaped gasket protect the equipment and make it suitable for the harshest environments. This equipment supports up to 3 angular transducers.
ABSOLUTE ENCODERS
Our absolute rotary encoders provide a uniquely coded numerical value for each mechanical position of the shaft, storing the value of the current position and thus avoiding the loss of information in the event of restarting the machinery or power failure. These single-turn absolute transducers are of the optical type, which guarantees a high resolution and therefore suitable for applications that require greater precision and indicated for sectors that require high speed and greater resistance to wear, temperatures and IP protection.
INTERFACES
A wide range of cards for interfacing electronic cam controllers with the outside world: static or electromechanical relay cards, interfaces for selecting formats and alarm messages, cards for connecting outputs and encoders, finally modules for anticipating the opening of the solenoid valves.
