Sinergia N2 Artificial Lift: Competitive technology respectful of the environment

Endowed with ISO certificates (9001- 14001-45001-80001), Sinergia thanks to the horizontal organizational model, combined with integrated and vertical production processes, conducted entirely in-house, provides highly customized solutions, also combining different packages into turn-key integrated systems.
In recent years, the company has increased the investments in its assets oriented to improve the integration of all sustainable goals. Sensitiveness to ambient issues, is not new, in fact, Sinergia developed in 2017 a proprietary tool for calculating the Life Cycle Assessment of its products, offering to its customers the opportunity to choose how should be the environmental impact level of their investment.
Internal processes and product portfolio have consequently followed the strategy. The product integration, aims quantitative and qualitative contribution to the Green Energy Transition, by developing:
•Application of consolidated technologies in innovative way to traditional processes with environmental improvement. (i.e. N2 Artificial Lift)
•New technologies driven by international environmental safeguards criteria. (i.e.: integrations in H2 and CO2 processes)
But while H2 is struggling to be widely adopted, and CO2 capture and segregation is affected by long decision processes, we believe that a lot can be done, now, in a less resounding, but more practical way by innovating traditional processes with an eye to environment safeguard:
On this belief, Sinergia has developed the technology of N2 generation into a specific N2 Artificial Lift system, for oil/gas recovery of depleted wells (unproductive or abandoned) considering, meanwhile, to exceed operational limits of existing technologies too, in an environmental- friendly way.
This goal, accomplished with such a technology, can be considered, and should be evaluated, as a sort of “ecological trade-off” in respect of new investments on:
•new drillings, that are more ambient- invasive and impactful thanks to disposal of chemicals and contaminated water, ambient gas emissions due to leakages etc.
•historically consolidated artificial lift technologies, proving to have relevant operational and maintenance issues with all consequent direct or indirect impact on ground-underground contamination, and by-production of unrecyclable scraps, or dirty wastes.
The results collected in a few years’ experiences of installations of N2 artificial lift are impressive both in terms of ecological and economic savings.
Gaseous N2, thanks to its molecular properties, is clean, not hazardous, not metal-corrosive in water, miscible with hydrocarbons; it can be produced anywhere, anytime, in quantity and quality required.
Sinergia containerized system generates and injects N2 with 290 bar max. pressure, operating @55°C ambient temperature, 24h-360d/y.
The core of the system is its logic that enables the automatic and accurate regulation of N2 pressure and capacity, to maximize and keep stable the differential pressures between WH and FL, and so the production. An adaptive system that will keep automatically the well productive even under progressive natural pressure reduction for time to come is part of the expansion of the project.
