Cases of efficient asset management at AUTOMA 2020

Oil companies, EPCs, refineries, pipeline operators and drilling contractors will join the AUTOMA Congress this October to discuss the asset management approaches in Upstream, Midstream and Downstream markets. The Congress will be co-hosted by Eni, who will also provide delegates with the Eni Green Data Centre visitation with its most powerful industrial supercomputer in the world.
AUTOMA 2020 (Oil and Gas Automation and Digitalization Congress) will be held in Milan, Italy on the 19th-20th of October. OMV Petrom, Cepsa, MOL Group, Tecnimont, Saipem, Wood, McDermott, Snam, Trapil, Enagas, and other companies will gather to share their opinion on the investment and resources management in the most cost-effective manner.
“Even 30 year ago it was just humans’ responsibility to control all oil and gas production stages, from mining to end-user delivery. Now the control is progressively shifting to robotic technologies, digital solutions, and AI. With the big data technologies usage, it becomes easier to check on the whole root of the materials and even predict any troubles long before anything happens. In such situations, asset management in digital technologies is a necessity, not a whim” says project director of AUTOMA 2020 Regina Chislova.

The session dedicated to asset reliability and integrity in upstream will contain the presentations from VP – Digital at Petrofac, Global Operations Director at Wood, Digital Asset Programme Manager at Premier Oil, and Vice President Center of Excellence at Petronas. The presentations will be dedicated to the asset reliability and integrity, development of predictive maintenance tools, practical suggestions for digital twin implementation and usage.
In the downstream industry, safe working process and timely tracking breakdown can now be provided by the predictive analysis with the digital twin simulation usage. At the AUTOMA 2020, the Intelligent Asset Management session will be covered by the integrated optimization and simulation models, concentrated refinery monitoring, and predictive maintenance using the IoT. The session will be featured by Sr. Vice President, Head of Digital Competence Center, Change Management & Communication at Eni, Sales Director SEU at GE GRID AUTOMATION and CEO at Reliability Solutions.
Safety infrastructure, remote monitoring and operations automation in pipeline, and tank farms will be the topics presented in the midstream asset management and maintenance session. Also, it will cover data flow in pipeline, particularly SCADA Security systems and AI. It will comprise the Trapil, DNV GL and Snam representatives’ presentations.
