REDUCED CARBON FOOT PRINT WITH A LIFTRONIC® IN PLACE OF A PNEUMATIC MANIPULATOR
A recent study reaffirmed findings from previous studies that the Liftronic® Series manipulator is environmentally friendly and provides significant savings in greenhouse gas emissions during
its use compared to traditional pneumatic manipulators .
The study compared the use of a Liftronic® vs .a pneumatic manipulator for the same work cycle, which specifically consisted of picking, rotating, lifting and then releasing a 160 kg load for a cycle time of two minutes for a 7.5-hour work shift. The study proved that the use of a Liftronic® manipulator in place of a pneumatic manipulator saves about 6 tons CO2/year emissions , equivalent to the emis sions of about 4 Fiat Panda gasoline 0.9 Twin A ir Turbo with annual mileage 15,000 km.
