The company, specialized in turning, milling and drilling of Top Entry, Trunnion, Ball and Twin Ball Valves
Meccanica Colombo srl was born in 1968 as an individual firm, created by Giancarlo Colombo and set up with three little lathes in his cellar. His sons entered into the business in the 1980s, leading the company from a little concern based in Besnate, to a bigger company in Arsago Seprio, Varese.
At the head of the firm there was Ermenegildo Colombo, who, together with his brothers, widened the productive standards and the working prospects, which until that moment were confined into a few types of works.
The purchasing of cutting edge machineries, the attention to details and to the relation with the costumers drove the company to a fast growth. In 2012 the firm became “Meccanica Colombo Giancarlo & figli srl”, based in Casorate Sempione, with a company structure still based on those values which inspired the firm founder, giving attention to the higher and higher qualitative and security requests, demanded by the Oil&Gas market.
The company is specialized in turning, milling and drilling of Top Entry, Trunnion, Ball and Twin Ball Valves. With our know-how we work on special kinds of steel, like Duplex, Super Duplex, Inconel and Inox to meet our costumers’ requests.
The attention to the relation with costumers and suppliers is Meccanica Colombo’s distinguishing mark.
Over the years the most important value spread by those who have been at the head of the firm has been the belief that the synergy between working processes quality and relational processes quality, towards costumers as well as employees, is the basis of the company and its success.
Meccanica Colombo in 2014 has added to its fleet the management software of Intesi Ltd., Factory, to improve their competitiveness and efficiency.
Our manufactures combine the speed of the machines and the robustness of the workings on different materials, such as Inox Steel F316, F51, F44, inconel, LF2 e A105.
Different combinations of dimensions of the turning, milling and drilling processes are made possible by our machines, thanks to a wide set of speed of the spindles and, as for more complex workings, to the change between different working positions in order to efficiently meet the requirements of our costumers.
