Eni operates in the Lubricants and Additives market through an integrated cycle including Research & Development of Additives and their production, manufacturing of base stocks, Research and Development of several different raw materials and lubricants development and their production in Eni blending plants.
Eni additives are produced at the Robassomero plant placed in the (Northwest of Italy) which meets very high production quality standards (UNI EN ISO 9001) health & safety (OHSAS 18001:2007) and environmental (UNI EN ISO 14001) ones. Additive packages and related lubricants are developed in compliance with ACC and ATIEL codes of practice.
Eni offers a wide set of lubricant additives from single components (Detergents, Dispersants, Viscosity Modifiers and Pour Point Depressants) to additive packages (Passenger Car and Heavy Duty Motor Oils, Motorcycle, Marine and Industrial lubricants).
Eni additive packages meet the most updated European (ACEA 2016) and worldwide (API SN, ILSAC GF-5) specifications and they are constantly revised thanks to ENI’s own Research & Development Laboratories based in Milan, Italy where new technologies are studied and developed using the most innovative methodologies and tests. The numerous patents and presentations in the most important symposia prove the continuous commitment of Eni in the lubricants sector.
Eni Additives Sales Department has been selling lube additives and components since 1983 in more than 30 countries all over the world meeting the needs of both small and large Customers, acting as a reliable partner in developing tailor-made products. Furthermore, Eni guarantees Technical assistance and customer care.
Since September 2017 Eni is present in Iran with its Eni Additives Exclusive Distributor, Afzoon Ravan Co. Stocks of main products are available in the territory.
