In Castelnuovo Vomano, CIER operates facilities dedicated to various stages of post-consumer packaging recycling, R-PET flake and pellet production, and rigid film production forthermoforming. Specifically:
– At the Via Mattei plant, post-consumer packaging is recycled. It is here that plastic waste stops being waste and becomes new raw material, ready for a new life.
– At the Via Tevere plant, rigid film for thermoforming is produced, using flakes generated by CIER’s own recycling process.
