ELETTRO TC SRL

FROM CRAFT TO CONNECTION: THE 40-YEAR STORY OF ELETTRO T.C.

What began as a small workshop in provincial Italy has grown into a multifaceted engineering partner for large-scale infrastructure, retail, and industrial automation, without ever losing sight of its founding values. This is the story of a company that turned change and progress into a business model. Over four decades, Elettro T.C. has combined technical precision with strategic diversification, building but long-term trust.

It all began in 1984, in a small workshop in Trevignano, in the province of Treviso, where a young Lorenzo Piazza gave life to his idea of purposeful technology. Elettro T.C. srl was born not out of ambition, but from an instinct: to create something that would never stop evolving. At the time, the company built antenna amplifiers and one of the first satellite tuners in Italy—an impressive achievement at a time when watching foreign news while on vacation seemed nearly impossible. “We built that tuner for a campsite in Jesolo,” Lorenzo recalls. “German tourists wanted to see their news. So we found a way.” But when the market changed and low-cost products flooded Italy, Elettro T.C. didn’t cling to the past— it reinvented itself. The company embraced the 50 Hz current: electrical systems for civil and industrial use. From that leap began a story of technical expertise, trust built over time, and continuous innovation. Power panels, automation for industrial machinery, telecommunications networks, and full project management services—all designed and produced inhouse.

Built to adapt, engineered to last
Today, Elettro T.C. designs and builds power panels internally, develops automation systems for industrial plants, and creates advanced voice and data network infrastructures. In tune with market changes, it has expanded its operations to include HVAC, fire protection, and hydraulic systems. Through its group company SIC, it also offers general contracting services, managing projects from start to finish. With operations extending as far as Timisoara, Romania, Elettro T.C. supports international clients and secures skilled labor where it is most needed. At its headquarters in Signoressa di Trevignano, internal operations are divided into specialized “islands.” Each team—whether focused on panels, automation, telecommunications, or documentation—is part of a compact, synergistic ecosystem.

Among the collaborations the company is most proud of is its over 20-year relationship with Leroy Merlin, supporting the brand in building and maintaining its retail stores. One of the most ambitious ongoing projects is in Padua, where Elettro T.C. is helping transform the historic Foro Boario into the largest Leroy Merlin store in Italy.

What truly makes Elettro T.C. unique is its people.
Despite its growth, the company has maintained a strong team spirit, where passion and professionalism meet every day. As Lorenzo Piazza says, “In this sector, it’s not the owner who makes the company, but the employees. They are the ones who show their faces every day and carry our values through their work.”
Looking ahead, the company continues to evolve, with new leadership roles taking shape and a clear vision: to grow without losing the identity that has made Elettro T.C. a trusted partner for forty years. From the handcrafted circuits of the early days to today’s advanced systems,
Elettro T.C. continues to prove that true innovation is rooted in memory, shaped by experience, and fueled by people. The company’s founder, Lorenzo Piazza,
recalls: “I started 40 years ago with a simple goal: to find a job that never felt like work.”
