Pietro Carnaghi Spa, with 100 years of experience and over 1200 machines installed all over the world, is a leader company in the design and production of high precision, heavy duty hydrostatic vertical turning and milling centres, movable portal milling machines (gantry), flexible manufacturing cells (FMS) and multitasking machines (Flexturn) rich in innovative, high-performances and customized solutions.
Pietro Carnaghi machines are characterized by very high quality. The highest technology available today is combined with a sedimented experience for all types of processing and production requirements. The amazing structural rigidity of the machines, combined with the most advanced technical solutions, guarantee the uniqueness of Pietro Carnaghi machinery. The modern production plant (located in Villa Cortese, Milano) has been enlarged and expanded in the last decade with new units dedicated to large machines, with buildings with a 20 meters height capacity, reaching a total covered surface over 50.000 sqm.
The Carnaghi family, being the founder of the Company, is today represented by the third and the fourth generations. They are active in the management of the Company, cooperating with professional managers sharing the strategical vision. The export rate of the production is set on a value of approximately 85% and the main relevant installations are located in Europe, USA, China, Middle East, India.
Pietro Carnaghi’s machines are used in the fields of: defence, energy (machining of gas, steam and hydro-electrical turbines, nuclear energy, wind energy and renewable energy), Aeronautics, jet engines, Aerospace, Mining equipment and earthmoving, Bearings and General mechanics. Pietro Carnaghi’s headquarter is in Italy, with branches all over the word to stay close to all the customers and offer them the best support from the earliest stages after the system installation. Our subsidiaries are located in Germany, China and USA, with full qualified service engineers, including spare part warehouse.
For many decades Pietro Carnaghi has been associated with UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE: Italian Machine Tool Builder Association and espouses its Green philosophy. The UCIMU mark qualifies the member company: it is evidence of commercial reliability, financial soundness and the utmost attention to safety requirements and the adequacy of the testing function. Furthermore, the Company operates according to ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards and has obtained D&B Rating 1, a financial recognition denoting the highest level of reliability as a BtoB business counterpart. Several cyber security certifications have also been obtained. The vision of the company regarding sustainability is demonstrated by the process of obtaining ISO 14001 certification (ongoing).
