Mollificio Luigi Codega is a company specialized in the production of springs and elastic components with diameters between 0.10 and 24 mm for a wide rang of sectors (e.g. mechanical, electrotechnical, hydraulic, food, etc.).
All products are made with selected raw materials in the following materials: carbon steels, alloy steels, pre-hardened steels, pre-galvanized steels, stainless steels, bronzes, and others. Modern technology combined with long experience (we have been manufacturers of industrial springs since 1925), allows us to produce small and large series of items that perfectly meet customer needs. All drawings are evaluated in advance and the most suitable processing and control cycle is identified for each detail.
We are ISO 9001:2015 certified. Our way of working allows us to have complete traceability of the production process referring to all our items, going back to the raw materials, systems used, personnel, etc. All our suppliers are constantly monitored and evaluated, and the raw materials are always accompanied by 3.1 certificates On request, test and raw material certificates are issued for each item.
Mollificio Codega looks back on a long history that dates back to the 1925, a period in which it was mainly focused on the cycling and motorcycles sector. Cavaliere Luigi Codega (founder of the company, ed), a motorcycling enthusiast, initially dedicated himself to the study and production of the first springs for bicycles and small motorcycles. With the enthusiasm and the remarkable growth of the sector that characterized that historical period, he expanded the production to include springs for engines and suspensions. Other sectors began to require large quantities of springs, and so he adapted to satisfy these new markets as well, such as the electrical, mechanical, locks, etc. sectors. Today, especially in the context of ever-growing digital progress, technological evolution offers us resources that were unthinkable just a few years ago. This reality requires us to be constantly updated and to have an increasingly motivated team to acquire new skills. The young people who join our company have demonstrated a modern mentality open to change.
We believe that our dedication and expertise acquired over almost a century of activity are appreciable and uncommon characteristics. The main customers currently include a wide range of companies from different sectors, with a predominance in the field of small mechanical engineering and the electrical sector.
